Namaraj Gauli, also referred to as NG, is a seasoned sustainable tourism entrepreneur boasting decades of expertise in several prestigious roles within the industry. Starting his journey as a staff member in a trekking agency, he ascended through the ranks to become a prominent trekking guide. Later, with his unwavering dedication, NG established himself as a trek operator alongside colleague Raj Kumar Basnet in 2008 with the creation of Outfitter Nepal.

NG has been an executive member of NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) since 2023. He plays a pivotal role in shaping initiatives and policies to preserve Nepal's mountainous ecosystem. Furthermore, having served as an executive member under the Mountain Protection Committee (MPC) of the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation), NG actively seeks to advocate and participate in initiatives addressing responsible tourism practices and climate change.

Moreover, his tenure at TAAN (Trekking Agency Association of Nepal) from 2013 to 2015 underscores his vision and commitment to developing ethical and professional standards within the trekking industry. Through these roles, he has demonstrated his technical and management skills in rural, agro, cultural, adventure mountain, and ecotourism.
