Trekking in Langtang valley stats with a day drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi (starting point of the trek). Syabrubeshi is a Tibetan village, which is inhabited by people of Tibetan origin. Moreover, once the route was an important trading highway with Tibet and Nepal, therefore, most of the villagers here still are involved in the trade that is more bartering.
The Langtang Valley Trek goes further up to the picturesque Langtang valley following the Langtang river valley. You reach Lama Hotel for your overnight stay. The trek then further continues to Langtang village and Kyanjin Gompa. The Kyanjin Gompa is one of the famous destinations in the Langtang region. You have a day to explore the valley. You can go on a short excursion to Tsergo Ri. The trail then returns to Lama Hotel and descend to Syabru Gaun. From here, trek to Dhunche and drive back to Kathmandu.

Best time to go on Langtang Valley Trek: The best time to go on Langtang Valley Trek is in spring and autumn. The weather usually stays stable, and the days are bright & sunny, perfect for trekking. However, the climate can get colder in the morning and at night time due to elevation.
In these two seasons, the forests get bloomed up with beautiful rhododendrons & oaks along with numerous other vegetation. And, the clear sky makes the views of the Himalayan Mountains more alluring.
Langtang Valley Trek difficulty: Langtang Valley Trek 12 days is an easy journey in the beautiful Langtang region. The trail is relatively easier than many other trails of Nepal in terms of steep and technical climbing. However, you have to walk 5 to 6 hours daily, and that does require a healthy body and good physical fitness.
Food & Accommodation during the trek: During the Langtang Valley Trek, you will stay overnight in teahouse. The room will not be big and luxurious, still, you will get a clean & cozy room with basic facilities. Also, there are high chances of getting common washrooms.
All the meals will be served by the menu of the teahouse. People from Tamang and Sherpa communities run these teahouses, therefore you will also get to taste their delicacies. Other then that, you will find dishes like Dal Bhat, fried rice, curries, chapatis, pasta, noodles, veggies, bakery items, etc.
In Kathmandu, you will stay in a 3-star hotel to 4-star hotel. The rooms will be on bed & breakfast terms. There will also be welcome and farewell dinner.
Langtang National Park: Langtang National Park is the natural jewel of Langtang region abundant in a range of flora & fauna. This national park has tropical and alpine forests. You will get to see a diverse variety of landscape along with many Himalayan mountains like Yala Peak, Langtang Lirung, Gangchhempo, etc inside the park. Moreover, the highest point of the park is Langtang Lirung. Along with stunning views, the park is also home to some of the rare wildlife like black bear, Himalayan tahr, red panda, dzo as well as rare species of deers & monkeys. Similarly, the holy lake of Gosaikunda also falls under Langtang National Park where hundreds of pilgrims visit every year to worship.

Kyanjin Gompa: Kyanjin Gompa is one of the most famous and significant monasteries of Langtang region. This monastery is situated at the foothill of Langtang Lirung (7,227 m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), and Langshisha Ri (6,427 m).
