You can hike to the summit of Nangkartshang peak, which has an elevation of 5,083 m, as part of the acclimatization day. Nangkartshang peak may be reached by foot in two to three hours, and once there, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Lhotse, Everest, and Pumori. Chhukung Ri, a highly well-liked trekking peak in the Khumbu Valley, is another option located at an elevation of 5546 meters. Starting the early morning trek, we traverse the Khumbu Glacier's moraine, passing even the Phulung Karpo, the campsite for the first Everest expedition. After this, we arrive in Thukla after an arduous climb uphill. The journey can get tricky from here onwards, and every step matters. After Thukla, we descend the Khumbu Glacier moraine with a breathtaking 360-degree vista of the neighboring mountains. We even witness a shrine dedicated to the mountaineers who lost their lives during their Everest expedition. Then, a difficult ascent will take you to Lobuche, a little town with just a few huts. It's at least a 6 hours journey. We have an overnight stay at Lobuche in a teahouse that offers an attached washroom and other amenities.

As we approach Everest Base Camp, we take in the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas and marvel at nature. Take some fantastic images with you before we make our way back. We stay at the base camp for quite some time. Since there is no accommodation at the base camp, we descend towards Gorakshep.
