    Family tour in Nepal

In January 2013, we have made family 9-day trip across Nepal with company Outfitter Nepal. Have visited Bangkok, Pokhara, Chitwan and once more Bangkok.

Unfortunately on a state of our health we could not order foot tracks, but in the rest - all was perfect. Very good organization, convenient hotels, good support, skilled guides.

And all it at rather modest price. Organizers of the company - the young (rather) men who have passed a path from simple porters to masters of the prospering tourist company especially were pleasant to us.

They very well perceive that is necessary for the tourist and provide it.

Very much hope we can still though time to organize with their help another trip across Nepal.

The Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek

I arrived late at night after a long flight from Brisbane (Australia) and was welcomed at the airport by a member of Outfitter Nepal. I can only recommend Outfitter's professionalism and friendliness of its staff either at the hotel or at the restaurant where I was attended with only deference and smile.

Two days later, I joined the other members of the group, our guide Intra and our amazing young porters: Ram, Denesh, Karen and Roshan. I should underline the gentleness of our young porters, the youngest being 17. Though they carried their heavy load, I never saw them complaining, and they always had a smile on their face.

We trekked the Ghorepani trail finishing at Poonhill 3,210 metres. As I am 71 years old, I encountered Altitude sickness and I fell three times, but with determination and will I made it to the top under the protecting eyes' of our guide and Jeanette, another member of the group.

I loved crossing the villages and the settlements and mixing even for only a little while with the locals. The trek was well organized, as well as the food and lodgings. We stopped two days at Chitwan and I enjoyed the Jeep Safari, where we saw rhinoceros, wild pigs, deers, elephants, crocodiles and many varieties of birds.

The sceneries were breathtaking. How can anyone forget the magnificence of this amazing country?

I have been taken, forever, by the gentleness, the humility of the Nepalese people and the young smiling children. I will carry them in my heart always.

If I wanted to change anything, it would have to be, that I would have liked very much to share my meals with our porters and our guide at the end of each day, for a more cultural experience.

If anyone wishes to trek in Nepal I can only recommend Outfitter Nepal and their staff. They will create for you an incredible journey.

14 day Annapurna base camp trek

We had a memorable experience with Outfitter Nepal on our recent trek to ABC. From being collected at the airport and transferred to the hotel, our day tour of Kathmandu which was eye-opening and then the trek itself, all went very well.

The bus journey both ways between Kathmandu & Pokhara could possibly be changed to a flight one way as both our journeys were over 9 hours.

On the trek, our guide Indra and assistant guide Ramos, both did an excellent job and ensured that our party of 15 from all over the world all had a safe and memorable trek. Special mention must be given to our team of porters who did a fantastic effort in transporting our packs.

We would never have got to Annapurna base camp trek without them. The views on the trek were simply amazing, particularly as we got closer to our final destination. While the facilities at ABC are pretty basic, there is a sense of achievement in getting to this special place.

Amazing Everest Base Camp Trek experience

I travelled with Outfitters for the Everest Base Camp trek at the end of August and I have to say they were so good! Originally our trek was due to leave after the first earthquake and after much panic on my side about re-scheduling my trek, Outfitters were quick to respond to my millions of emails and handled the whole situation with true profession. Our tour was re-scheduled within days. I was blown away.

Our Everest Base camp trek guides Suraj and Dipak were great group leaders and their knowledge and experience of the trail felt second to none! They were very friendly and happily answered any questions or concerns I had in great detail.

I felt very safe in their hands! My friend and I also had planned to visit other areas of Nepal for which Arjun at Outfitters organized for us at no extra hassle. He had a full week and a half of itinerary planned for us to visit Pohkara and Chitwan Jungle Safari which went to plan without a hitch.

I have to say our experience of visiting Nepal wouldn't of been as incredible as it was, if it wasn't for Outfitter Nepal.. So thank you!

A Once in a Lifetime Trip to Everest Base camp

Nepal has been #1 on my bucket list since my parents told me they did the Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC) in November of 1983 and then I was born 9 months later. I suppose you can say Nepal has been a part of me, and my entire life I have had an indescribable desire to see it.

I started planning our trip a year in advance to do the Everest Base camp trek, and did copious amounts of research on trekking and adventure companies. I initially was going to go with an American-based company, but I stumbled upon great reviews about Outfitter Nepal.

I emailed Raj (the first of about a 1000!), and decided to develop a personalized, private trip through Outfitter Nepal. Preparing for a trip that is 12,000 miles away and not being totally sure of what to pack and how to prepare can be daunting. I must have emailed Raj hundreds of times, and he always responded promptly and with much patience for my dozens of questions.

He eased any uncertainty I had about the trip and we were beyond excited to start our adventure. We arrived at the Kathmandu airport and were met by representatives of Outfitter Nepal.

We dropped our luggage off at the Hotel Moonlight and then went to meet Raj. He is an incredibly genuine and honest man, and I am so glad that he and his company are who introduced us to the amazing country of Nepal.

Our second day in Nepal, Birodh took us on a small group tour in an air-conditioned van around the temples and sights of Nepal. This is definitely not to be missed!! Birodh was a fountain of information and an excellent tour guide.

Our guide, Sudip, and our porters, Pasang and Buddha, were top notch. Sudip was very knowledgeable about the mountains and Nepal. I had countless questions about Nepal, the culture, and the mountains, and Sudip answered them all. Our trek to EBC was priceless, and our first view of Everest while in Namche was unforgettable. We had one small hotel issue in Namche, and Sudip (and Raj) helped us fix it in no time.

I had also talked to Raj about perhaps visiting Chitwan National Park. While we were trekking, Raj set up a fabulous trip to Chitwan, including airplane, hotel and tours.

We stayed in the amazing Green Park Resort and did multiple jungle and river tours. If you are in Nepal for the EBC trek, add a few extra days and visit Chitwan! We saw wild one-horned rhinos, Asian Elephants, the 5 species of deer, 2 species of crocodiles and hundreds of birds. Definitely worth the time!!!

We hope to return to Nepal and trek Mera Peak, as well as just spend more time in the phenomenal country of Nepal. The Nepalese people, I cannot say enough good things about. They go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome and happy.

In addition to the first-class customer service, the people of Outfitter Nepal are honest, and will do everything in their power to make your trip to Nepal a trip of a lifetime.

    Nepal View Tour

We got amazing deal and kept wondering: where's the catch? We had pretty low expectations as after all you get what you pay for. We couldn't be more wrong! Nepal was on our bucket list for a long time and we are so glad we got to do it with Outfitter Nepal .

They are absolutely amazing and I will recommend them to everyone. Organization, itinerary, staff, and accommodation was all perfect and the best value for money we ever experienced. Our guide Hari made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable and we know we will be back in Nepal to more trekking and it most definitely be with Outfitter Nepal Treks and Expedition.

Travelling with local guides and porters makes you feel safe - for you it is exotic destination, for them it's home and they know everything there is to know. Raj and Arjun (2 of the company owners) were very accommodating and helpful when we experienced issues with our flights (arrived day later than intended). Great company, great people and great trip!!!
