    10 Days Best of Nepal

Arjun and Birodh made our trip a pleasant experience. We took the 10 days best of Nepal tour with Outfitter Nepal and we have no regrets.

UNESCO listed places and temples were covered in the itinerary which are a must see!

One has to experience Nepal physically and spiritually which Outfitter Nepal did just that.

    Fantastic Short Annapurna Circuit Trek

My wife and i recently did the Mini- Annapurna circuit trek offered by Outfitter Nepal and we absolutely loved it. Even before we got to Nepal, Arjun always replied to our emails promptly and gave us all the information we needed. Everything promised by the company was delivered, from the airport pick-up, to the quality accommodation and the excellent guide and porter (thanks Bhim and Sunil!!!).

We had an incredible time walking through the mountains - the himalayas are something that you really need to see if you haven't been there. Our guide was really flexible, letting us walk further if we wanted, and stopping anytime we wanted a break or something to eat. Our guesthouses were great - particularly the delicious food that we'd get each day.

if only our local nepalese restaurant did a proper (Nepali tradinational dish) daal bhat! When we go back to Nepal, we will definitely be booking with Outfitter Nepal Treks.

Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake extension

My wife and I chose Outfitter Nepal after applying the usual matrix looking to meet our needs. They were the only company that responded in full to all of our questions for the trip and were able to supply a more logical itinerary than I had originally supplied.

As promised our trip went ahead even though there were only the two of us for the trek and the price remained the same. Other than our changing a couple of items, changing from a bus to jeep service for the first leg of our trek, there were no ‘hidden’ expenses once we arrived in Nepal. Our trek briefing and meeting with our guide and porter was managed by Raj in a most professional manner.

On the trek our guide Indra and porter Ram were great companions and provided a wealth of information on the trek. Little things were pointed out to us such as wild bee hives on the cliffs as well as identifying major mountains. Indra was always mindful of the pace we were keeping and would adjust the days walk to suit us. We noticed that Indra was well respected by other guides and porters and this was very important during our trek.

Unfortunately we were caught in the storm of October 2014, but were safely in our tea-house by then, a planned stop just short of Tilicho base camp. After 36 hours of snow and with reports coming in of the tragedy at Thorung Pass Indra stated we that had to head back down. Interestingly the other guides at the tea-house were seeking his advice and followed suit with their clients, others doing a self-guided trek also followed his lead. Indra and Ram then broke trail for us through the snow and led us to safety.

Even when we were clear of the snow Indra still took us safely over avalanche debris that came from Annapurna II and also a major landslide that had taken out about 300 mts of road. We were very fortunate to have such an experienced guide and a keen young porter to help us. Meanwhile Raj did a great job from the office in keeping family and friends updated as to our whereabouts and safety.

Once off the mountain Raj made the suitable arrangements, jeep, to then get us to Pokahara and so continue with the rest of our holiday.
Our accommodation in Kathmandu , Pokahara and Chitwan National Park were all suitable to the budget we were on.

Please be mindful if you have not trekked in Nepal before, once on the trek the tea-houses can be basic, but even so Indra always sought out the best for us.

Nepal was a dream come true for myself, with my wife enjoying her second trip there. We will be back, as stated above in early 2016 for a different trek but one that will also be a challenge. Will we use Outfitter Nepal again, yes for sure.

They looked after us from go to whoa and they will be getting our business again and we will be strongly recommending them to friends who are considering going to Nepal.

    Nagarkot Trek

I was busy working before my departure and did not make any other firm plans for my visit in Nepal. I also did not have a lot of time to spend in Nepal, but I had three days free and I wanted to go on a hike.

They took me on a three day trek through the low laying mountains and countryside.

It was the best way to see the Nepali culture and take in the beautiful views. My guide’s name is Amrit and he was wonderful.

I am a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe and well taken care of.

I did not have a lot of time to spend in Nepal and he made my trip an absolutely memorable one.

Great Trip ! Reliable Company - Ghorepani Trek

Me and my partner had a great time trekking in the beautiful selected route through mountains to Ghorepani Poon hill trek! Beautiful people, authentic food and amazing scenery ! Kathmandu, Chitwan jungle safari and Pokhara was different but also fantastic cultural experience! Flying over Everest was once in a life experience too! The guide was very helpful and we enjoyed pleasant conversation with them!

I left my brand new $300 rain jacket at one of the hotel we’ve stayed at in the mountain area. I never thought I could get it back. But the guide, guide assistant and manager Raj himself went out their way to help me got my jacket back and shipped it to Australia for me! That’s amazing!

I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends who want to travel to Nepal! Reliable and trustworthy!

    The Everest base camp trek

What an amazing Everest base camp trek this was and one I will never, ever forget. The Outfitter Nepal team were brilliant and organized everything incredibly well. All lodges were booked prior to arriving at each village which was perfect after a long day trekking. The views were exceptional and the weather, very fortunately, was fabulous.

Obviously Outfitter cannot control this but I do recommend going late March/early April. We also went just before the UK Easter holidays which meant the trail was much, much quieter - as we were descending on the 5th April, it was clearly much busier due to the influx of people from the UK/Europe.

Our guide, Sudip, was brilliant. He played cards with us every evening, educated us during our trek and always ensured we were okay throughout the trip. He was simply superb and very funny too! We would also like to credit Subas for being a fabulous porter - I definitely recommend paying out for a porter as when reaching higher altitude, your bag can seem a heck of a lot heavier than when in Lukla!!

Although Outfitter Nepal plan out an itinerary, they allow a lot of freedom and flexibility so that it suits you. We were quite quick walkers and were happy to push on to a village an hour or so further (when descending); Sudip and the Outfitter Nepal team allowed for this which made us feel in control of our trip.

I know the same would be possible should you be struggling with altitude, injuries etc. and you wish to slow down a little. Of course, when ascending it is really important to try and stick to what Outfitter Nepal suggest as to minimize altitude sickness!

Overall, we had the most amazing trip and are very grateful for the Outfitter Nepal team.

I would definitely recommend the company though it would have been even better if a hot drink was included with lunch and dinner.

Everest Base Camp Trek - Great Values !!!

Amazing trip of a lifetime. We were a small group of eight who were extremely well looked after by Indra Thapa and his team. We made this Everest base camp trek last November (just late writing my review).

I would highly recommend Outfitter Nepal, We felt they were very professional from emailing us all the relevant information for the trip right to the end of the trip taking us back to the airport.
