My partner and I had a private trek to Everest base camp with Outfitter Nepal in November. This was our second trip in Nepal with Outfitter and we had no hesitation in using them again.
Raj promptly answered all our emails about the trek and made all the arrangements, which ran smoothly.

Outfitter Nepal have close links with a good hotel in Kathmandu which we used before and after the trek. Our guide Bhim is knowledgeable and professional. He was a real gentleman and looked after us extremely well.

Our porter Kamal is ‘a people person’ and was a joy to be with.

He was caring and encouraged us whilst we were walking.

It was an amazing experience which we still talk about every day.

We booked as a couple for the Everest Base Camp Trek of a lifetime but met up with a larger group each evening. Our guide Suraj was exceptional throughout, as were the other guides Sanjay and Deepak who we got to know during the trip. They were experienced, professional and competent in dealing with any situation.

The porters (Outfitter Nepal support the community and employ them rather than using yaks) display of stamina was incredible.

The organization was also second to none, with the field staff ably backed up by NG and the team at HQ in Kathmandu and I would highly recommend Outfitter to anybody contemplating any trips or tours in Nepal - you will be well looked after.

We are already planning a return trip next October.

The company took care of every detail from booking to dropping me off at the airport. Had a great time on our Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek and our guides and porters were very pleasant.

Just finished trek could not of made it without the wonderful and truly amazing support and guidance from from tour guide Amrit, who supported helped,laughed and listen to my questions and chatter without my porter Saroj who followed me every step of the way patiently waiting quietly.

I have recently returned after doing the wonderful 12-day Nepal View Tour with Outfitter Nepal. Our expectations were were well and truly exceeded. From the moment we were met at the airport in Kathmandu, to when we dropped off back there at the end of our trip, the team at Outfitter Nepal looked after us extremely well.

From the company's director, Raj, who had patiently answered my many emails prior to our trip, met us for a comprehensive run-through of the itinerary the day after we arrived and joined us for a farewell dinner on our final night, to Raj our driver, the lovely Shova who took us on a guided tour of Kathmandu.

Hom our amazing guide who went far above and beyond in making sure that we all enjoyed the trek, and Narayan, Maila and Shankar who were our support crew on the trek - all of the Outfitter staff were friendly, knowledgeable and great fun to be with.

The mark of a great company is how they respond when something goes wrong, and in this regard Outfitter was outstanding. My niece became unwell and was unable to continue with the planned schedule, and all it took was one phone call to Raj and in a matter of a few minutes he had arranged accommodation for my niece and sister and transport for them to join us a couple of days later.

The trip itself was excellent, with the five-day trek in the stunningly beautiful Annapurnas being the undisputed highlight. The natural beauty of the mountains is indescribable, and as mentioned, Hom and the support crew were terrific. I highly recommend Outfitter Nepal, and will be very happy to answer questions if anyone would like any more information.

I hiked the Everest Base Camp trek in a group of 8 people in Nov 2018. NG and Arjun were great in the lead up communications - very prompt and answered all my questions. They were very accommodating of my requests to adapt parts of the trip such as not staying the designated hotel, or arriving one day late and skipping the Kathmandu tour.

I felt they were the most responsive of all the companies I had contacted, they had the best reviews from my lengthy research, and it was important for me to book a local company - all of which were major reasons why I booked with them in the first place.

Our guide Indra Thapa was fantastic. I felt incredibly safe to have him and his 2IC Ganesh guide us through the whole trek. We knew at every stage, they were watching us and being mindful of our safety, in a very understated way. We had people in our group of different speeds and some didn’t adjust well to the conditions, but both Indra and Ganesh would tag-team so that everyone was accounted for. We were so grateful for their hospitality and concern for our wellbeing.

The only constructive feedback we had was of the accommodation in Dingboche, which charged much higher prices for hot water and charging than other teahouses we had stayed at, even those at higher altitudes. We provided this feedback to NG and he was extremely receptive to this so hopefully this will be a better experience for other hikers.

Finally, a few bits of icing on the cake.

• On the first day, our flights were cancelled into Lukla. Instead of delaying the trip, Outfitter Nepal decided to book us onto helicopters with the cost borne by them. It was a phenomenal experience!
• They treated us to a dinner in Kathmandu at the end, and it was really nice.
• Some of the guys from our group wanted to try authentic Thongba (alcohol made from fermented millet), so on our last night in Lukla, Indra and Ganesh manage to arrange this for us. What an incredible experience.

Overall, a life-changing trip made even better thanks to the wonderful team at Outfitter Nepal !

Great Trek to Everest base camp and recomended to every one.

I booked a trip with Outfitter Nepal in October 2013 to Gokyo Lakes. Unfortunately the weather was bad and changed my trip to ABC. The company was very friendly and there were no problems making the changes. They were very professional and made my trip a lot of fun.

When you do something like this it is nice to have someone to look after you every step of the way and they did this. A very enjoyable experience thanks to outfitter Nepal and special thanks to my amazing guide Amrit.

We had a good laugh, he was very professional and looked after me very well. He is a very kind and good person with a great sense of humor which added something extra special to my trip and gave me some wonderful memories.
