The Phewa Lake in Pokhara
The Phewa Lake, Phewa Tal or Fewa Lake is a freshwater lake in Nepal and it is located in the south of the Pokhara and the lake is stream-fed but a dam regulates the water reserve, therefore, the lake is classified as semi-natural freshwater lake, the Phewa lake is located at an altitude of 742 m/2,434 ft above sea level and covers an area of about 5.23 square kilometer and It has an average depth of about 8.6 m (28 ft).

Tilicho Lake in Annapurna Region
The Tilicho Lake is located in the Manang district of Nepal and It is situated at an altitude of 4,919 metres (16,138 ft) above sea level in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas and is known as the highest lake in the world.

Gosaikunda Lake in Langtang Region
Gosaikunda also known as Gosainkunda is an alpine freshwater lake in Nepal's Langtang National Park, located at an altitude of 4,380 m (14,370 ft) in the Rasuwa District of Nepal. The lake melts and sips down to form the Trishuli River and remains frozen for six months in and there are 108 lakes in this area, small to medium in size. The challenging Lauribina La pass at an altitude of 4,610 m (15,120 ft) is on its outskirts.

The Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest fresh water lake in the Nepal and it is the main feature of the Rara National Park, located in the Jumla and Mugu Districts.
Rara Lake lies at an altitude of 2,990 m above sea level, has a water surface of 10.8 km2, a maximum depth of 167 m, is 5.1 km long and 2.7 km wide and It drains into the Mugu Karnali River via the Nijar River.
The Gokyo Lakes located at an altitude of 4,700–5,000 m above sea level and these lakes are the world’s highest freshwater lake system comprising six main lakes.
