As I mentioned while we having dinner. I would like to express my appreciation for the people involved in my trek with Outfitter Nepal. I’m privileged to have met and been guided on my adventure to Annapurna base camp by Dinesh and Nabaraj Khanal. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and attentive, happy and competent guides. As a single traveller I felt safe and always comfortable asking questions or for help throughout the trip. They were professional and made every effort to secure what I needed. Dinesh showed great leadership and understanding of his position, he reflects well on your company. I believe someone with his qualities is a rare find and therefore a valuable asset. I will treasure my memories of the trip and remember their bright smiling faces. I look forward to my next trip.

My wife and I did the Annapurna Base camp trek. Our guide and porter were terrific. When I got sick on the sixth day of the trek one of the porters stayed behind with me to take care of me. My mother could not have been more attentive and caring. My wife did make it all the way to ABC. We highly recommend your company to any one planning a trek in Nepal !!!!!

I really enjoyed the trip very much, I had a wonderful time with my team members from USA, Canada and Holland, special thanks to my guide and potter, as well as the agent for the professional service, I am sure will be back!
Hi Arjun, just arrived home and wanted to express our appreciation for the great trekking adventure. We particularly wish to express our appreciation to the wonderful support from all six porters and two guides. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and formed strong friendships. A lot of our trekking time was with Bralad who was a tremendous assistant to Suraz, he did a wonderful job. We will have many fond memories which we will treasure. Please convey our appreciation to everyone, we wish them all every success. With good wishes.
The trek was great, your company did a really good job on the organisation. I really liked Dipak as a guide and all the porters. I found it especially nice that also the porters stayed with us during the walk since we've also seen groups where they walk separately. I would certainly recommend Outfitters Nepal to others!
Five Stars for Outfitter Nepal ! Just finished a 2-week trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Outfitter Nepal did a fantastic job of making this a great journey. All arrangements were first-rate. They went out of their way to ensure that we were happy. Special thanks to Arjun, NG, Ranjit, Nilesh & Niroj!

Back home after an experience of a lifetime. The trek to the Annapurna Base Camp was so rewarding. The trek at times was demanding, however the guide and porters were so supportive and enabled this 65 year old to enjoy the stunning scenery and experience to the full.

The trip and trek to Kathmandu and Annapurna Base Camp was 5 star. the organisation by Outfitter Nepal was first class. A guided tour around Kathmandu was informative, interesting and exciting. So sad to see the devastation caused by the earthquake, earlier this year, but inspiring to see the Nepalese people getting on with their lives. The trek was equally well organised and Bim, our guide and the 3 porters, looked after our group of 5 brilliantly. Unfortunately, I wasn't well on the first 4 days of the trek, but Bim paced me and I was able to get to the Annapurna Base Camp, without Bim's knowledge, expertise and encouragement, I probably wouldn't have completed the trek. However, the trek was fantastic, the scenery was stunning and seeing the sun rise over the Base Camp was one of the most inspiring things I ever seen. As a 65 year old, I achieved a lifetime ambition and I'm now contemplating a Everest Base Camp trek, with Outfitter Nepal, next year.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Arjun and his Outfitter Nepal team. I made my first solo trip (as a female) to Nepal and I was extremely nervous. But Arjun made me feel extremely safe and in good hands. I trekked to Annapurna Base Camp with Sanjay and we had a phenomenal time. He always took care of me, made sure I was safe and was there to play cards and sing songs with me throughout the trek. I would recommend Outfitter Nepal to anyone doing a trip to Nepal- they're top of the line!

This is to give great compliment on Outfitter Nepal's job for organizing our adventure Trip in Kathmandu and Himalaya of Nepal. Our Kathmandu Sight-seeing and ABC trekking was full of fun, adventure, tiring and great memory. Thanks to Arjun, Raj and NG for managing a good team as Outfitter Nepal and Dherai Dherai Dhanyabad to Guide Santosh and Porters Ranjit and Kamal for lots of efforts and supports on the trail. Bjay made our Kathmandu sight-seeing very informative so he also deserve our thank you. Hopefully see you again and definitely our choice is Outfitter Nepal.

We were to make the trek Everest Base Camp in December 2012. We had a great time and the seats are wonderful. Although we had to interrupt the trek to the mountain sickness of my son, the agency and the ns. guide Amar followed us around and we quickly arranged another equally beautiful trekking in the Annapurna region remaining at lower altitudes. I highly recommend Outfitter Nepal for any need because people are really smart and they welcomed any request and they arranged everything very well. I would go back to Nepal and if I do I will turn it back to them.

Booked this trip after seeing it advertised on Travelzoo and researching Outfitter Nepal. One of the best experiences in my life and an absolute must for anyone looking for a trekking holiday. Trekking through the Himalayas to Annapurna Base Camp was beautiful, stunning and exciting. Also hard work at times but so worth it for the achievement alone. Outfitter Nepal were outstanding from initial contact, answering emails to several enquiries and overall care throughout the trek. They are very experienced and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our guide SuraJ was amazing, such a lovely young man who takes his job very seriously to ensure everyone has an unforgettable experience. I went on this trip with my friend and we were joined by 5 others on the trek. We had four porters to carry our luggage and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Again, lovely young men, happy in their work and nothing too much trouble. They laughed and sang at times and they absolutely sweated a lot carrying our luggage up very steep hills. They too made sure we were all ok and were very responsible in their duties. SuraJ as a guide took care of the porters very well and this was so nice to see. If you are looking for a trekking holiday then please have a look at this particular trek because the scenery is so beautiful. And have a look at Outfitter Nepal because they are excellent. Be completely aware that this is not a 5 star hotel holiday, it is an experience of a lifetime in the outdoors and while some of the accommodation is nice and basic, other accommodation higher into the Himalayas is not so great. But it’s clean and I’ve definitely seen worse at home! Make sure you prepare fitness wise. You do not have to be an athlete but this climb is hard most of the time. I am 55 and walk everyday with my two dogs and a couple of months prior to the holiday I started upping my pace and doing some hills. It definitely paid off. And I just got fitter as the trek went on. I absolutely loved every second, even the painful bits of some very steep steps. Had a good pair of trekking boots (Berghaus Fellmaster) and never had sore feet. We all had a great time and being a small group we got to know each other quite well and it was great to be able to speak with everyone throughout the trek. Will definitely being using Outfitter Nepal for any future treks in this region.

Outfitter Nepal took all of the stress out of organizing an Annapurna trek and their tour prices are very reasonable and competitive. The tour route itself allowed us to have enough time to acclimatize to the altitudes to avoid sickness and provided us with ample time to fully experience some of the mountain villages. Our tour guide, Bhim, was very professional, well-organized and was able to answer all of our questions about Nepal and its culture and wildlife. Bhim even coordinated our hotel booking for us when we decided to extend our stay in Pokhara by an extra night. I can't say enough good things about Outfitter Nepal and highly recommend them.

Wonderful 8-day experience trekking in Annapurna Base Camp thanks to the kindness of Ranjit, our guide, and the advices of Namaraj, managing director of Outfitter Nepal. Thank so much guys for these amazing 8 days. We highly recommend your company to everyone looking for a trekking experience in Nepal !

We had a great time. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek was very well organized, the guide was professional and the porter was like a mountain goat. It was one of the best time in my life in the mountain and their services. highly recommended !!!

We enjoyed very much our experience with Outfitter Nepal. They were very efficient in the all process and promptly getting back to us if we had any question. The trek was very well organized and the guide was really great, very deeply concentrated on making our trekking a fantastic experience, taking into account all the different people trekking experience and assisting everybody in their needs. The porters too were always cheerful and enthusiastic and we had a great experience connecting with this team and getting insight on the local culture. We have seen fantastic scenery, saw beautiful animals, enjoyed a friendly and welcoming environment. Meals provided were always bountiful and we never needed to buy any extras. We would highly recommend Outfitter Nepal and we plan to go back to Nepal for another trek and book again with them!

From the beginning ,being picked up to the end of the tour was totally amazing, everyone at Outfitter Nepal ,had been so helpful ,considerate and kind, The trek was Awesome ,!,I found it a very big challenge and struggled a lot of the time and if it wasn’t for Birodh I don’t think I would have made it to base camp ,he was my rock', he supposed ,encouraged, and motivated me to keep going in what at times were difficult situations , I also think our porters Sandeep and san-deep were also “Awesome”:, they did their job with such enthusiasm and amazingly strong . I had no expectations when I started so just went with whatever the day bought , If I were to change anything it would be to have longer time in places where I could just take the time to soak “it all up, I am still processing all of this in my head as there was so much to take in, the views were amazing and to have reached Base Camp ,was an achievement I will never forget .to sum up ,I highly recommend OP, and all their staff , and the team we had were” simply the best”

Frankly speaking, I don't like much of hiking but I chose Annapurna base camp trekking from October 14 to 27, 2017 because it was one on my bucket list. Yes, it was difficult but you can do as long as you exercise constantly as I did. By the way, when I considered the cost (it was really cheap under $1000), I expected poor food and sleeping areas. But it was way out of my expectation. My group has prepared many foods and snacks but almost no chance to use them due to great meals provided by Outfitter. In addition, the guides and porters are very kind and nice. And the boss, Angie (I am not sure it is a right spelling) is also very kind and open minded. Nothing to complain. Strongly Recommended. A+++++.

We had a memorable experience with Outfitter Nepal on our recent trek to ABC. From being collected at the airport and transferred to the hotel, our day tour of Kathmandu which was eye-opening and then the trek itself, all went very well. The bus journey both ways between Kathmandu & Pokhara could possibly be changed to a flight one way as both our journeys were over 9 hours. On the trek, our guide Indra and assistant guide Ramos, both did an excellent job and ensured that our party of 15 from all over the world all had a safe and memorable trek. Special mention must be given to our team of porters who did a fantastic effort in transporting our packs. We would never have got to ABC without them. The views on the trek were simply amazing, particularly as we got closer to our final destination. While the facilities at ABC are pretty basic, there is a sense of achievement in getting to this special place.

Was very impressed with Outfitters even from the enquiry and booking stage. Very prompt response to emails and to my enquiries for more information. They booked us into the Samsara Resort, close to their office, which was comfortable and convenient to shops and restaurants. We were met at the airport by our guide and the schedule and all other arrangements were explained in detail. The Kathmandu day tour was interesting but could be improved on...our guide seemed quite shy and could have given a lot more information while driving between sights. The cremation site was especially interesting. The 8-9 hour bus journey to Pokhara was very tedious and quite uncomfortable...bad drivers on this bad road made it dangerous, too. There is an option to fly, however. The trek itself was great, but relatively low level in forest and hills until the 5th day when the views of the mountains are better. Accommodation in the various tea houses varied in quality but was generally adequate with shared rooms in some places, and private rooms in others...the bookings made by our guide were not always honored by the tea houses, which led to problems in a couple of places. There seems to be a shortage of rooms in some places and the tea houses will try to squeeze in as many people as possible irrespective of reservation. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending Outfitters as a company with which to book your trek.

Exceptional service by the porters, special thanks to Mr Hari, Amrit and Benod for their professionalism. Average performance by the guide and company arrangement. Advice for others, please make sure that all accommodations and transportations information are in full details before proceeding with their service.

We just finished a 14 days tour and trekking trip of Nepal/ABC with Outfitter Nepal. It was really amazing. Our guide, Bhim, and porter were very helpful, professional, nice and flexible. We changed the trekking itinerary, and we trekked the Annapurna base camp to Nayapul in two days instead of three days with spending extra night in Pokhara. It was harder work for the porter, and we never heard any complain from either of our guide or porter, just smile. The guys went out of their way to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Outfitter Nepal was very accommodating. We also had a surprise last night farewell dinner with Arjun which was very nice. We definitely recommend them. We hope to be back and trek Everest Base Camp. Thanks Raj, Arjun and Bim. I have forgotten our ported name to add.

I just completed the trek to Annapurna base camp with outfitter Nepal. If you could give more than 5 stars I would . My adventure started when I was picked up at another hotel in Kathmandu and moved to the pre trek hotel. The next day I was picked up by my city guide Birodh. He was knowledgeable, fun, and brought Kathmandu to life. for me. It was so much fun to share his enthusiasm for the city. I enjoyed every moment. He gave me tips on the upcoming trek and followed up later with some pictures he shared . He is truly a gifted guide. The ABC circuit was such a wonderful experience it is hard to put it into words. The county is beyond stunning and I met people from all over the world. My guide Bhimsen took care of everything but was flexible too around how far I wanted to go each day. He is knowledgeable and truly a joy to have with you. I felt very lucky to have him as a guide. When I return to Nepal I hope I can have him as s guide again. My porter was perfect. I shall return to Nepal and use outfitter Nepal again. They were also great at answering the endless stream of emails I sent before my trip asking questions . I highly recommend them.

My travel to Nepal was an extremely pleasant and interesting experience thanks to this company. I did a one day tour in Kathmandu with a guide named Birodh who is very educated of Nepal’s history and the world in general. He was very friendly, engaging, and efficient so I was able to see and learn about all of Kathmandu’s major sites in just one day. My nine day trekking experience was made very special because of my guide Sudip. He took care of my every need and concern. I felt very safe and protected under his care and guidance. He was able to answer all of my questions about the mountains and its people. His friendly animated attitude made trekking feel like a piece of cake. I highly recommend this company and its staff.

What more can I say, I cannot rate Outfitter Nepal highly enough, from the moment we postponed our trip following the earthquakes to suddenly deciding to bring the kids along they accommodated us in every way possible. We had the most fantastic time, our guide and porters Amrit, Sunil and Shankar were so supportive, they entertained the kids with card games, took them on up ahead whilst I was dragging my feet at the rear and encouraged me every step of the way, even herding the wildlife off the path so that my 11 year old would pass. The care they showed for my eldest daughter on the day she endured some altitude sickness was awesome. Our booking although it was a group booking only contained our family of 4 which was wonderful, it allowed me to take my time and plod my way up and down some rather testing terrain at my own pace with my arthritic knees. One of the hardest but most rewarding experiences I have ever had and to share it with the kids (aged 13 and 11) was amazing. 170km of the most stunning scenery I have ever experienced travelled over 10 days. Highly recommend taking your children if you are looking for a family adventure with a difference. I am overweight and unfit but thanks to the support from Outfitter Nepal I managed to achieve a lifelong dream. Would not hesitate to travel with Outfitter Nepal again

Raj at Outfitter Nepal arranged our 2 week trek to Annapurna Base Camp - they took care of everything for a great price !! It included all hotels, meals, connections, porters and guide - amazing deal !!! They took care of everything and were 100% responsive to our needs before and after the trek. Birodh was our city guide through Kathmandu - fun & funny guy with excellent English; knows the city, it's history and culture - he's my new Facebook friend ! Sanjay was our guide through the mountains. He too knew his stuff and was an excellent companion for the trek. Very experienced in the mountains, and took care of all our needs along the journey. I would seek out Outfitter Nepal before going and ask for these gentlemen.

Having been recommended by some previous travelers to Nepal, we booked with Outfitter Nepal for our visit. We did some city tours, a jungle trip, white water rafting and trekking over 14 days. The trekking through the mountains and valleys was fantastic going to a max of 3,200m but was within the capabilities of all of the group. It is unusual in this day and age to go for 5 days without hearing or seeing a car, bus, tractor or motorbike!!!!!!!!

We booked with Outfitter Nepal for their 14-day Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek. There were actually 9 hiking days, a one-day city tour of Kathmandu, and 2 days at each end for arriving/leaving Kathmandu and transportation to/from Kathmandu/ Pokhara. Overall, Outfitter Nepal did an excellent job of organizing everything. Notable pluses: 1. They took care of all transportation to/from the airport and bus stations, including pre-tipping drivers. 2. Our guide for the ABC trek, Hom, was fantastic. He explained what to expect each day, patiently answered all of our questions, organized meals for us, and always made sure that we were on the right track and no one was left behind or felt rushed. He was a fountain of information and made the trip far more than just a hike through some pretty scenery. 3. The one-day city tour was a good way to hit the highlights of Kathmandu and provided a good contrast to the rest of the trip. The only negative to the trip was the bus ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The distance is only 200 km and this is advertised as a 5-6 hour ride but that may only be until "ideal" conditions. The road is narrow and very winding in places with lots of truck, bus, and farm vehicle traffic so it can be very slow going and smelly. The extensive road works in Kathmandu did not help and resulted in a rather unpleasant 9-hour trip. One may want to consider flying if there is that option. Overall, Outfitter Nepal made it very easy for us to have a stress-free vacation. We will look to them again if/when we return to visit Everest Base Camp and Chitwan National Park.

Outfitter Nepal makes it super easy for the first timer or repeat visitor to this magical place. Just finished up trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Stunning and rugged beauty. Outfitter Nepal made it easy regarding transportation to/from airport and all points in between, all accommodations and majority of meals, permitting for treks, and most importantly EXCELLENT guides and porters. The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and accommodated the pace for out trekking group. There were two guides for trek (One for city tours and one for trekking countryside). Both were AWESOME!! Birdoh (city guide) provided insights about Nepal's history, culture, people, and historical sites. Really super nice and charming guy and spoke perfect English. Really made me feel like I was NOT on a tour - very refreshing! Ranjit (trekking guide) really took care of us and walked every step of the way to Annapurna Base Camp. Again, very patient, attentive and aware of groups needs - good English speaker. Gopi (porter) - carried all our gear up and down the mountain. I still don't know how they do it. Amazing! This is trek is rated moderate and is as described on website. Outfitter Nepal rocks!! For all the above reasons, I highly recommend them for a worry free trekking adventure in Nepal!

I had the privilege of travelling with Outfitter Nepal for the ABC trek. They were extremely hospitable and caring. We had our guide Indra who did a fantastic job ensuring that we were always comfortable during our trek. The pace was good, there was no pressure to walk faster, lodges were always prearranged and hiking stories were shared along the way. It happened to snow during our trek and we were unprepared for it, however Indra made sure that we were safe at all times ensuring that we do not hurt ourselves. Even swopping his shoes with my friend so that my friend will have better friction! Our trek was also accompanied by 3 great porters, Saroj, Jitu and Roshan who provided us with lots of joy and laughter along the way. Extremely selfless, these guys made sure that we get to our destination safe. We had lots of fun with the Outfitters team and would definitely sign up with them once more when we decide to trek in Nepal again. Before I end the review, I would also like recommend Birodh for the Kathmandu tour! He took us around and shared with us the stories of Kathmandu and its many temples. His descriptions were detailed and the stories were interesting. He is also very funny and spoke perfect English! We learnt a lot from just spending one day with him. Even after we were done with the tour, he recommended us places to visit in Pokhara before the trek! Outfitter Nepal will definitely be my recommended company if you are interested in hiking /Touring in Nepal!

Just returned from an Annapurna base camp trek ( 7th- 21st Oct. 2015 ) Trek of a life time. Hard ( never knew there were so many steps ) but well worth it for the views. Very well organized, everything went smoothly, but at the same time flexible. Certainly highly recommend Nepal outfitters. Thanks to our guide Bhim and porters especially Robbie for making it such an excellent and enjoyable trek. Good Hotel ( Moonlight ) well placed in Thamel district ( good for shopping ), eating recommend nearby Bamboo club, for drinking, Sam's Bar. NEPAL IS DEFINATELY OPEN FOR TREKING. No sign of earthquake damage on trek. Great time to go as trekking is not crowded and you can get a great deal.

We recently completed a 15 day Nepal trekking experience involving a 10 day trek to Annapurna base camp. Before going we had concerns regarding the earthquakes, however Outfitter Nepal reassured us that it would be a rewarding trip and they did not fail as It was a truly amazing experience. They were friendly and professional, they organized a trip that provided an insight into the culture and beauty of Nepal. I would highly recommend visiting Nepal and Outfitter Nepal.

Hi all just returned from Kathmandu and a 15 day trip trekking to Annapurna well what can I say from the moment I stepped of the plane I was out of my comfort zone it was chaotic manic and frenzied I was met by a representative of outfitter Nepal and we where soon on our way to our first hotel,,, we pulled up late and it all looked scary hotel was under renovation at the time so there where a few loose ends needed finalizing, next day went on a tour of Kathmandu full day very eye opening tour and marveled in sights I had never seen before, next day we started our adventure of on a 6hour drive where we would start our trek was never worried at the fuel crisis out there even when seeing thousands of people waiting for a bit of fuel we where assured tourist buses would be OK and we was. Thank fully, the trek well I can say is I'm not a Trekker in any form my training for this was a comfortable stroll round picturesque lakes where I live topping it of with a swim a couple of times a week I was comfortable in belief I would stroll round the whole circuit without discomfort,,,,, I was in for a shock it nearly broke me ,lol. i remember the man replying to my email expressing my concerns about my fitness and if I would make the circuit, his reply was if you have a strong heart you will do it ,well I guess I have a strong heart because I got stronger every day,,17stone lump am I and I do consider myself a couch potato or did,, the trip was awesome the views where totally overwhelming the simplicity of local life upon the mountain trails where fantastic and so refreshing the leg work was calf busting but rewarding as every turn and uphill hike meant full on wild life from mountain goats in there hundreds troops of monkeys eagles etc, ,the mountain tops where in sight and we was eager to get there I won't spoil it for you when u get to see the sun rise at Anna Purna base camp you will know ,,even at 6am from then all down hill very hard to turn my back on the views that I struggled to climb to see but you do and before you no it you are winding your way down trails and meandering to the bottom where you are picked up and drove back to a hotel where being deprived of luxury for a few days meant hot water and a comfy bed was 6star ,the Sherpas where immense so young so strong carrying two large bags of our gear each full credit to them the guide made you feel in good hands and overall the company outfitter Nepal did a great job even taking us out to dinner on the final night to say thank you and to get some feed back ,if you're wondering about is it safe to go I would say yes deffo the city was in a bit of chaos but the mountains where so calm and tranquil,, again I'm not a big walker and I was hovering over the buy button for ages when first paying for this trip and all I can say is I'm so glad I had the nerve to push buy ,,it was eye opening culture vulture back breaking awesome and I take my hat of to this company efficient reliable and under the recent tragic circumstances which has befallen this country I'd say first class outfitter Nepal I'd go again and I'd tell all to go to hope people return in there numbers once again ,,,,ow hello to my group that trekked good meeting you

Liaising with Outfitter Nepal was very easy as Arjun, the coordinator was very prompt and helpful in his email replies. Our group of 5 took on the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Bishnu as our guide and Ram, Sangka and Arjun as our porters. The trek was well managed and our needs were well-taken care of. We left Nepal with wonderful memories. Highly recommended to engage Outfitter Nepal for planning your Nepal trip.
We booked our 15 Days ABC Trekking through Mr Santosh. Reply was prompted and fast. We were brief on the various details with regards to the trek. We arrived in Kathmandu and was pick up by the friendly staff from Outfitter. We had our briefing in the office on the first day. 2nd day was sight seeing tour and we also make our last minute purchase for the trek. Throughout the whole trek, Mr Santosh was responsible, approachable and he managed our expectation really well. He is also very proficient in English. From his experience, he was able to guide us on the various important details during trekking. Furthermore, he shared with us Nepal's culture and people. Accommodations (simple and clean) and Foods throughout the trek was great. We brought out canned food but in the end there were no need for them. We had our End of Tour dinner(by Outfitter) on our last night at Kathmandu to mark the end of our Nepal adventure. On behalf of my friends and myself, I would like to Thank Outfitter Nepal, especially to Mr Santosh for organizing such an amazing tour for us. I have trek quite a few mountain, Mr Santosh is definitely one of the best Guide I ever met. THANK YOU. Cheers. :)

We chose Outfitter Nepal based on friends who used them 5 years ago and said how great they were then. We were not disappointed! Booking from the UK was straightforward and we really appreciated the quick responses to questions etc... Even when we had to change our flight time last minute, they were flexible in our pick up. Our whole 11 days in Nepal was seamlessly organized by Outfitter Nepal, we never had to worry about how we would get places or what we needed to do. Much of this is down to the excellent guides they employ. Our guide Mohan met us on the morning of travel to pokhara and remained with us until we caught our flight out of the country. He, like the other guides was very personable and caring and along with our porter Prabindra, made our trip even more enjoyable and exciting with good natured jokes and informative explanations of the local people and mountains which is priceless when you have long days of walking and sometimes need a little encouragement. We really enjoyed the trek that Outfitter Nepal put together for us up to Annapurna Base Camp Trek and want to thank Raj and his team for such an amazing time and our guide Mohan for his outstanding leadership and company. I think what makes Outfitter Nepal an excellent choice over the many rivals out there is the individual service you receive, you are more than just another client, they know who you are, what you want to do and are keen to tailor to your needs. The fact that the co-owner Raj spent some time with us for dinner on our last evening to hear our feedback speaks volumes of a company that is committed to great service and a constant desire to be better still.

I just spent 18 days for trekking to Nagarkot and Annapurna Base Camp with Outfitter Nepal whom I really wanna recommend. I had hesitated to take this Nepal trip since 2011 as I would be a solo traveler. I had been worried how I could survive in the “street fights” with beggars, street children, money cheatings, messed issues…like in India where I had been before. But Nepali country & people are totally different although they are nearby. Thanks to Outfitter, especially Arjun’ promptly replying emails, everything was organized well & safety from my first step out Tribhuvan Airport to my last step in Tribhuvan Airport after 18 days there. I had chance to take my 1st trek with trekking guide Sanjay Adhiklari whom I felt safe & trustable immediately by his calm manner & good behavior (he was in the same treatment to the village people we met on the trails even! Impressive definitely!). My 2nd trek to ABC was with trekking guide Amar. Amar is somehow so much clever than others on the road, Amar and the porter team took care of us all the way. We were a good humor group since we joked &laughed together so frequently. We also had a nice dinner with Raj before leaving Nepal the followed day. I plan to come back Nepal for Annapurna Circuit trek next year, this is not just only seeing more a charming Nepal (before mountain peaks less snow effected by global warming and trails being roads) but also meeting the Outfitter team once more time! Thank you very much Outfitter Nepal.

We strongly recommend Outfitter Nepal for any trekking experiences within Nepal. We just got back from doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek of 12 days. We arranged to from Australia via email and the response and support from Raj and Arjun was outstanding. Everything was spot on from the time we arrived at KTM and met by their rep to bus tickets, day tours, transfers to airport and accommodation....all excellent. We arranged a side trip of 3 days/2nts to Chitwan after the trek and again, all organized and we felt very looked after. Chitwan personal at the Jungle safri Resort were outstanding..thanks Ghorebindi our guide. The guides (Amar) and porters were great, the trek outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.

Very nice company! i love them, joined ABC last 15 September 2014. completed in 12days. this is stunned, friendly tour guide and porter. reasonable price
Outfitter Nepal did a great job in ensuring I had a memorable 16D holiday. They were prompt in catering to our enquiries and concerns prior to the trip and were flexible with the itinerary. We embarked on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and it was the best holiday thus far!! The team was informative and made sure every detail was well-planned to suit our needs. We felt extremely comfortable and at ease with our guide and porters, and thoroughly enjoyed the panoramic trek and soaked in the Nepali culture during the city tour as well. Thank you Outfitter and we will definitely be back again
My son and I have just returned from a 5+ week holiday in Nepal, expertly organized by Outfitter. We did two treks totaling 30 days, using an itinerary suggested by Arjun at Outfitter which fitted the bill perfectly. From the first email contact, Outfitter were prompt in responding to our queries and made suggestions which worked perfectly. The holiday was arranged efficiently with a minimum of fuss. Because of the total length of the trek, we had 2 porters, Sunil and Shambhu, who were delightful, helpful and fun and our excellent guide, Santosh looked after us really well. While complex communication with Sunil and Shambhu was limited because they spoke little English, Santosh has excellent English. His knowledge, experience and organising abilities were superb and resulted in our being in the greatest degree of comfort possible in the mountains. He skilfully altered the schedule as we went along. From our many conversations as we went along we learned a great deal about Nepal generally. This was augmented by his introducing us to 3 young Nepali trekking tourists - not common - whom we accompanied for several days and met up with in Kathmandu after the trek. The treks are very different and both are simply wonderful. At 67 I was concerned that I might no longer be fit enough for such long treks, but I need not have worried. I had no fitness issues and no altitude problems at all. I just had to breath a bit more deeply than normal when I was nearing the Thorong La pass at over 5400m. On both treks there was a lot more snow than normal for March/April but my son and I are used to walking in snow and ice and Santosh had no worries about us. On the ABC trek we met another two guides from Outfitter and while, of course, we preferred Santosh as "ours" I was impressed with them too. You don't need a European guide, they don't know Nepal nearly as well and don't speak the language. Outfitter are well used to dealing with the needs and wishes of foreign tourists and met our every need most charmingly.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful track vacation in Nepal. We have tracked for 10 days From Pokhara to the Annapurna Base Camp via Poon Hill. The entire vacation was arranged by the helpful team at Outfitter Nepal. Arjun and the team were extremely informative, responsive and helpful from the early days of planning the trip and assisted us to make the right choices as for the most suitable track for us. We have received from them a complete and detailed schedule for our track. The package they gave us included all the internal flights, transportation and accommodation. Upon arrival to Nepal our excellent guide Raj met us at the airport and took us to our Kathmandu hotel. Raj was also helpful in assisting us to buy some missing equipment items for our track. After a day sight-seeing in Kathmandu we arrived to Pokhara spent the night and started our 10 days track. The track was challenging for us but we enjoyed every minute and the magnificence of the trails the mountains made it all worth. Raj our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the track and his assistance was very helpful during the hard parts of the track. Outfitter Nepal was very good and are highly recommended. For us, this will be a vacation to be with

If you're thinking of going to Nepal - just do it… and if you are wavering about whether or not to book a guide and porter, again, just do it! Outfitter Nepal took all of the stress and worry out of our trip, gave us interesting facts and information as we trekked, kept our morale up when blisters were biting, translated so we could talk to local people, and made sure that we were safe when a blizzard came down quickly one afternoon. We booked Outfitter Nepal on the recommendation of a friend to guide us (my husband and I) on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and to take us on an afternoon white water rafting. You can self-guide on that trek, but Birodh and Ramesh really made the trip for us. We would not have got half as much out of the experience without their input - their ongoing advice and chirpy guidance was invaluable. Birodh, our guide, far surpassed our expectations. His English was excellent: he's a bright self-motivated masters student who was able to explain amongst other things the Nepalese caste system (now officially outlawed), the history of villages we passed through, and habits of local fauna. Although most guest house owners can speak passable English it was really useful to have Birodh translate: we felt we got a much deeper insight and most 'honest' understanding of the country, rather than just exchanging pleasantries.

Had a tour with Outfitters in early 2013. Our tour guide was the best we saw on the trip, very nice to talk to and felt like great friends. He took care of everything we needed, no problem. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. We also did the rafting which was so much fun. Overall the entire trip went off without any major hickups. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--> <!--[endif]-->

I booked a trip with outfitter in October 2013 to Gokyo Lakes. Unfortunately the weather was bad and changed my trip to ABC. The company were very friendly and there were no problems making the changes. They were very professional and made my trip a lot of fun. When you do something like this it is nice to have someone to look after you every step of the way and they did this. A very enjoyable experience thanks to outfitter and special thanks to my amazing guide Amrit. We had a good laugh, he was very professional and looked after me very well. He is a very kind and good person with a great sense of humor which added something extra special to my trip and gave me some wonderful memories.

I spent ages getting quotes and reading reviews and recommendations of various companies and guides before deciding on booking a trek with Outfitters. There are so many companies I was overwhelmed with the choice. Fortunately Arjun was always very fast at replying and following up with me and gave us a good price so we decided to book our Annapurna Base Camp trek with Outfitters. It is a Nepali owned and managed company which was important to us and Arjun was very patient with all my questions. I am so glad we did! We had a great guide called Hari who was fantastic - friendly, professional, experienced and keen to make sure that we were happy with everything. Hari managed to secure good private rooms for us every night whereas we saw some other trekkers having to stay in communal dinning rooms or a communal tin shed that had been set up in some places or had to carry on to the next village for accommodation. Since we weren't having any trouble with altitude and were all feeling quite strong, Hari was flexible and managed to get us to base camp a day sooner than we expected. We were not in any hurry so just took our time on the return journey. Hari also took us to the hot springs and talked us through how it all worked in advance whereas we met some other people who had not been told anything by their guides and were a bit perplexed and overwhelmed by the experience. I was also impressed by Outfitters attitude towards safety and their own porters. We were advised to put our things in one rucksack for our porter to carry and advised on weight restrictions. We saw other porters being forced to carry suitcases or multiple duffle bags up the mountain which just seemed really wrong. Both our porter and our guide were well equipped. Our porter Rajan was like Superman - he was so strong and we really enjoyed playing cards with him and Hari in the evenings. We did see people travelling without guides but we also saw some of them get lost and go the wrong way and lose out on accommodation so I think it's definitely worth getting one. I know I also couldn't have done without a porter to carry my big bag either. Some people were carrying their own things and they looked like they were really struggling whereas we were just enjoying our trek. We also met a few people going in the opposite direction to what we were going - a much much harder route. Most didn't have guides although a few of them did. Whereas the route that Outfitters recommended to us was easier and made much more sense. We were so impressed with Outfitters that we hired another guide through them when we got back to Kathmandu which Arjun managed to arrange at shirt notice. Raj our guide was great, friendly and very professional. Again we thought that we wouldn't really need a guide but we definitely would have got lost without one! Both guides had been working with Outfitters for a long time which I think is a good sign. Outfitters were also transparent and helpful when it came to asking about what we should be budgeting for our trip on top of their fee and in providing tipping guidelines which some other companies I contacted didn't seem to bother about. Will definitely be using Outfitters again for any more trekking we do in Nepal and would highly recommend them.

Great arrangement throughout our nepal trip. My phone and wallet actually leave at the hotel of pokhara before hiking to Annapurna camp trek. My guide Amar from outfitter actually try his best to contact the hotel, ask their people to "investigate" throughout the hotel and finally i found all the things back when back to pokhara. Those helpful & immediate action shows their concern as a guide, sincere in business and honest to their customer. Definitely will recommend to all my friends.

I couldn't help but write a review for this wonderful company. There are so many good reviews and I want not to duplicate but to re enforce how personal yet professional the company are. They took the stress out of organizing the trip and smoothed out any problems along the way. There personal care and attention to detail is the reason I think they are the best company to take a trip with. We had initially booked to go to Everest Base camp but weather was against us and so we spent two days at the airport waiting. In this time, management had booked us 3 flights to try and get us there and the guide waited with us both days. They even double booked us on Lukla and Pohkara flghts on the last day to ensure we made it on our trek! After this minor change of plans, we had the most amazing trek to ABC and I'm almost glad weather prevented us going to EBC!! The tour of Kathmandu on the first day was so informative and our guide and porter on the trip were very attentive and great fun. All of the rooms (except one in Kathmandu) were lovely and we did not get ill from any of the food. I felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the trip and would highly recommend both Nepal and Outfitters to anyone who wanted a We had a fantastic trip in Nepal and if we needed a guide in future then Outfitter Nepal would be our first choice.

Arjun (The co-founder of Outfitter) was very prompt in replying our queries via our email since the start. He provided very clear itinerary and detailed explanations on the preparations we will need in trekking the ABC. Payments/Booking was absolutely done in a professional manner and there wasn't any hidden fees/extra charge from the beginning till the end. The beginning of our trip wasn't a smooth one - 2 out of 9 of us got their flights overbooked and had to detour to India. Outfitter went the extra mile by helping the 2 to make all the necessary arrangements (extra in-bound flight tickets, extra nights in Kathmandu, airport transfers etc) to ensure that the 2 friends got to meet the rest of the team to start the ABC trek from Pokhara together on time. On arrival, we met the other co-founder of the company, Raj. He briefed us on the entire trip arrangement and make sure our expectations on the trip are well managed. Outfitter was very kind enough to lend us their sleeping bags & down jacket for free (trust me, if you come from a hot/tropical country like ours, your normal camping sleeping bags will freeze you to death on Annapurna Base Camp. So use theirs instead). Raj is a charming guy and he seems to know everyone on Thamel street. Ask him to help point you to the best restaurants in town - you wont be disappointed. Our mountain guide - Amar Khan, was absolutely perfect. He's young, energetic, funny, and truly a great leader. He has tremendous amount of experience and we always felt that we are in good hands. Also, I think Amar is quite a good singer - he likes to sing while trekking, which adds to the fun and experience to our trekking as well. Our porters are a great bunch of fun Nepali young boys, not only do they diligently carry our luggage. They added much fun to the journey through little interactions with us even though they speak very limited English. we sang and danced together with a little help of raksi (the local wine), and there many local Nepali and some guesthouse guests joined. I strongly recommend everyone planning to visit Nepal to use Outfitter's service - you really will see and feel Nepal so much more. And you will be comforted in knowing that the money you spent on your holiday will be earned by local Nepali people - who will appreciate it so much more than you'd know. You will come to Nepal as a stranger - and left like you'd leave home and friends.

I had one of the adventures of my life. My flight from KL to Kathmandu was overbooked, and had to transit to KTM from New Delhi. In the midst of the transit, my baggage got lost in between. Raj (co-founder) was very helpful in reuniting my friends and I. Outfitters were also very generous in lending me their down-jacket and sleeping bag, which were of substantial quality. I actually did the Annapurna Sanctuary without my baggage! If it wasn't for Outfitters, I wouldn't have survived to witness a magnificent snowed Annapurna Base Camp. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--> <!--[endif]-->

I am retyping my feedback as somehow it was deleted by TripAdvisor ?? We used the services of Outfitter and hiked around Annapurna We found our guide to be excellent, the office met all its commitment we respect that Outfitter Nepal don't overweight their porters However we realized that the meaning of "hot shower", "clean room", "private bathroom" in Nepali means different things for western tourists - please be VERY VERY specific what are your expectations from the hotel room, restaurant or English level of your guide we fully recommend Outfitter

My trip to Nepal was a last minute plan. A week before my departure I contacted Arjun at Outfitter Nepal about a short trek. He responded immediately with a descriptive outline for a 4 day trek. As it worked out, Arjun met me the day I arrived in Nepal, where we made further adjustments to the plan due to certain restrictions I had, and within that same day he obtained the necessary trekking permits, flight reservations, accommodations and transportation. The next day we were off to Pokhara with our guide Raj for a hike to Ghandruk in the Annapurna Sanctuary. It was an amazing adventure. Raj was extremely competent, knowledgeable, sociable, and cheerfully accommodated requests and last minute changes due to conditions on the trail. This was the rainy season so we hiked in rain, mist, fog as well as sun and heat but the experience was terrific, the views incredible and we will have great memories of our adventure thanks to the organizational skills and professional service from the fellows at Outfitter Nepal.

Hello Outfitter, I am writing this to compliment and commend your excellent service. I am very grateful to Outfitter Team though i paid; got more than i expected. Me and my wife visited there for Honeymoon and some adventure trip that you guys organize was extremely successful. Arjun, Raj and NG did great management from arrival to departure. Our Guide Bijay and Santosh did great job. Thanks for your cheering around the trip my friends at our tiring, struggling moments. It is really awesome to have good food at the high mountain which we hardly imagine about. Kathmandu and Pokhara both amazingly different from where we live so i enjoyed the moment we been there. I am very delighted to take the decision of choosing Outfitter to organize the Kathmandu tour and Trekking at ABC at your wonderful recommended package which is price worthy and Service is really excellent. May not be for long time but will visit again, Definitely. Thank you for helping to make our trip a huge success.

April 2010 Everest base camp, April. 2011 Annapurna base camp, November. 2012 Everest Chola pass and Gokyo lake. Outfitter Nepal always has been clear about price and program, amazing guide always kind and try to make you feel like a friend. As you can see i made 3 trekking with them and I will choose them again on my next trip to Nepal. Thanks' guys and good luck.

My wife Vicky Wolfe and I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Outfitter Nepal last November. I can only say it was fantastic. Our guide Amar could not have been more friendly or helpful on the 11-day trek. My only quibble was that because so many people were also out trekking, it was not always possible to stop the night where we had planned as the teahouses do not take bookings except from big groups. But when all is said and done, that was a pretty minor inconvenience in an otherwise magical trip. Overall, I cannot fault Outfitter. Setting up the visit, they were always prompt replying to emails and unfailingly helpful. Our visit could not have gone more smoothly.

I got a recommendation from my boss, who did ABC trek with Outfitter in 2012. Our tour was both cultural exploring and trekking oriented. We had numerous requests to be fulfilled by Outfitter during planning period. They built perfect itinerary which covered all our wishes. Although the itinerary was packed with activities and travelling everything worked like a swiss watch! Accurate pickups and transfers, convenient accommodations, lovely treks, infinite attractions, great local food and, of course, excellent team. We really enjoyed this tour. Recommend going to Nepal with Outfitter. Good value for money Dreams come true with professionals!

I arrived to Nepal in mid March with an idea to do the Annapurna Base Camp trek and later maybe the EBC trek - based on my first experience with the company. The Outfitters approach was very professional from the day I had started our email communication. Arjun would answer all my questions in very timely manner. He was very reassuring and detailed in any info I asked for. I was a woman traveling alone so the safety was my number one thing and I was also stressing an importance of selecting the right guide for me since I wanted to trek solo - no porters, no group so I wanted to make sure that they will choose the right person I would feel comfortable spending two weeks in a raw with all alone. Well, they couldn't choose better! My guide, Birodh was very experienced, very professional always there for me ready to help or talk. He had excellent English skills, he was well read so we could really talk about anything! He also knew a lot about local culture, history, religion... you name it! I had some high altitude issues at the Annapurna Base Camp which were again handled very professionally by my guide and I felt safe and totally taken care of. Nothing serious but I lost my confidence to continue to the Everest Base Camp. This was my lifelong dream and one of the main reasons I came to Nepal so Birodh wouldn't let me to completely give up on it. He suggested a little bit different itinerary going only to the certain elevation so I wouldn't leave Nepal without at least seeing the mount Everest. The Outfitters were amazing and created the itinerary just for me and my needs. During the ABC I felt great so my guide Birodh encouraged me to continue and try to go as far and as high as I will feel comfortable. Again - Outfitters were amazingly flexible even though this required lots of different changes, rescheduling our flights from Lukla and organizing other small details. Not mentioning the fact that I paid only for the half if the trip... :) I felt supported by the whole team to fulfill my dream and with this amazing support I did! The day when I and my guide Birodh, together with another group also trekking with Outfitters and their guide Raj (we met on the trek) will be one of the most memorable days of my life! Thanks to the Outfitters and their wonderful team of professionals! This is the company I would recommend to anyone planing their trip to Nepal. Their flexible approach with you and your needs in their mind will make your trip exactly what you are looking for. Guaranteed!
I was lucky to trek with Outfitter Nepal. On my very first day at Kathmandu I met Namaraj who really took the time to explain to me every trek, the level needed, equipment etc... He reassured me on my capacity of doing the ABC trek as I would be with a professional guide ect. It was my first trek preparation. As a women alone, I was really hesitating between doing it with a guide, on a group with people met on the way ect. I have to say that I had a lot of questions and he had always taken the time to answer with professionalism and availability. He really put not pressure on me about getting on trek soon or doing it with a group whatsoever and that was really appreciable. After a few days I felt confident and I made my mind about going on a 10 days ABC trek early September with a guide, Indra! The best decision ever ! I have been able to enjoy this walk safely without anything to plan or worry about and a professional who looked after me plus you get the chance to talk with someone who know about Mountains and learn about it.. I could enjoy the views freely and It was such a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Namaraj. I definitely recommend Outfitter Nepal for their availability and professionalism.

My wife and I were very pleased with the way Outfitter Nepal took care of us from the time we arrived until we were in the airport on our way home. We have trekked in many countries and our guide and porters were a pleasure to hike with. The views are beautiful once on the trail. The surprise for us was the number of steps on the trail. I would guess that close to 50 miles of the 80 mile trek was going up or down rock stairs. I thought the stairs were a lot on the Sacred Trail to Machu picchu, but that was nothing compared to this trek. We were there in October, so a very busy time. Katmandu is very congested and smoggy. I recommend getting out of there as quick as possible. Don't expect any travel to be quick. The roads are packed and slow even outside the cities. The tea houses were great if you are someone that is accustom to travelling in developing countries. Don't expect to have all the luxuries of home. Just enjoy the experience. I would recommend Outfitter Nepal and the Annapurna Base Camp Trek to anyone wanting a look into the Nepal culture and wonderful landscape of the Annapurna mountains.

Five of us planned to do the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and then the Chitwan Jungle Safari with Outfitter Nepal this past December and January. From the first time we contacted them to start the planning until the trip was over we were very pleased and impressed with everything. The Guide and Porters were knowledgeable, fun and very helpful. Part way through the Annapurna trek, our group of five decided that we wanted to change our intended route; our Guide instantly contacted Outfitter Nepal and together they came up with several alternate routes that better suited our group. We were so appreciative that they were able to accommodate our groups' change of plans. It made for a fantastic trekking holiday in the Himalayas that we will never forget! We were equally impressed with the Chitwan Jungle Safari as well. Thank you Outfitter Nepal for a great holiday; we definitely recommend you!

A really well organized Annapurna Base Camp trip. Included a day tour in Kathmandu, transport to and from the trek starting point near Pokhara, 2 nights in Pokhara and 9 days trekking. Trek guide and porters were excellent and really professional and friendly. The management team in Kathmandu were very helpful and accommodating and even took the group out for dinner on our return. All emails were replied to very quickly with all questions answered in detail. Overall I was really impressed with Outfitter Nepal and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We completed two treks with Outfitter Nepal in January 2017, Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp. Management was extremely friendly and helpful for organizing the trips for us. Our porter and guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the mountains and high altitude trekking. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a guiding company to go trekking in Nepal!

Annapurna Base Camp Trekked with a guide and a porter. Both were extremely friendly and very willing to help. Had substantial language capabilities and had no issues communicating Trek information and more general cultural knowledge throughout our hike. The guide and porter went out of their way to ensure we were well spoken for. Great experience to go with a guide as they will provide local knowledge which builds onto the general experience. Bonded well with the team and had several nights of card games in the mountains. Enjoyed it thoroughly, and will definitely recommend.

Outfitter (company): truly look after their clients. Many things included. Great English. Always book a local company. Second time with them. Company director is well organized & gives a sense of welcoming. Suaraj (tour guide) most accommodating, humble, warm guide - who understands the needs of the group/individuals. Understands humor. Any issues, he will fix without anyone knowing (true management style). Will answer any question you have. Tour: 14 day Annapurna base camp, Hard trek - prepare yourself for many steps but the views are worth the hard work. ABC at sunset is amazing, more beautiful than Everest base camp in my opinion. Constant amazing scenery. Forests, waterfalls, snow, villages& valleys. Wildlife. Time: Dec 22nd - off season - best time to go - less people. However higher chance of snow, which can make trekking hard. Highly recommended this trek & company!!!

From the first point of contact to the concluding group evening dinner Outfitters provided an excellent service. All the arrangements were well planned, coordinated and delivered effectively and efficiently. Our guides Suraz and Pralad and porters Kirn, Kamal, Rams, Rajan, Anil, Raz and Kumal were amazing. They were all great company and contributed greatly to the tremendous trekking experience as well as encouraging and supporting us along the way. By the end of the trek we all had developed great friendships. The scenery was spectacular, the trekking challenging but rewarding. I would highly recommend Outfitters; hopefully in the future there will be an opportunity to return to Nepal for another Outfitter trekking experience.

Just like all the previous positive reviews we agree Outfitter Nepal was an excellent choice for our ABC adventure. The porters and guides were very attentive to our needs and by the end we felt we had adopted 8 wonderful Nepalese grandsons ( we were all over 60) or maybe they felt they had adopted 10 Canadian grandparents. LOL. The trek was amazing and often more difficult than some anticipated but the porters/guides were there to encourage when needed or hang back and allow us our own pace. Our main guide, Suraj, was very professional as was our assistant guide, Pralad, and the entire porter team were respectful and diligent in their care of each guest. Our guides, Kamal, Rams, Rajan, Anil, Raz Kumal, and Kirin so impressed us all with their strength, endurance and desire to serve all along the trek. On several occasions Kirin would reach our days destination and then double back to meet me along the trail and offer to carry my daypack the rest of the way. So thoughtful and caring and very much appreciated. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Outfitter Nepal and highly recommend them. From airport pick up to drop off back at the airport at the end of our adventure Outfitter Nepal was there to assure a positive experience.

Outfitter Nepal was absolutely fantastic! I loved the trip so much I want to go back and do Everest Base Camp! From the start Arjun always replied to my emails within one day and was accommodating when I wanted to add additional activities onto my itinerary. I felt well taken care of the entire time I was in Nepal. I especially appreciated that there was always someone from the company to meet me when I was departing or arriving for each part of my trip. The trek to ABC was incredible. By far the best trip I've been on. I went on the trip solo and ended up being part of a group of 10 people who were so much fun. Our guides Sanjay and Suman were wonderful. So sweet and always there to help with anything we needed. The porters were also great. They always had a smile on their faces. The first night they invited us to sit by the camp fire with them while they sang traditional songs and played a drum. The food on the trek was okay. Not a lot of variety. By the end of the trek the lunches were a running joke between the group. What would it be today? Potatoes, noodles, rice, or a combo of each? Make sure to bring enough cash to buy snacks. You will want them. A soda with lunch, snickers and chips, or a hot tea after a cold day hiking. Also cash for a shower, purified water (not bottles), charging your phone and WiFi. The accommodations at the tea houses were sometimes nicer than others, very basic. The walls are thin. So thin that we could have a regular conversation with our friends in the next room. We had a hot/warm shower almost every day of the trip. I didn't use my iodine tablets on the trek more than maybe twice in 9 days. I ended up buying purified water from the tea houses. It usually cost around 100 Rupees. I wasn't prepared for how hot it was during the day in the lower elevation days of the trek and throughout the trek there are more stairs than you can possibly imagine. If you have extra time spend more time in Pokhara. It's beautiful and much more low key and inviting than Kathmandu. I wish I could have stayed longer. Chitwan is a whole other experience.... I didn't do enough research into the treatment of the elephants beforehand. When I got there I saw them chained up with short chains. They couldn't move. The guide told me that they are taken out to graze in the morning and afternoons but chained up otherwise. It was pretty sad. Overall Chitwan was sort of boring. There was a lot of downtime and not a lot to do. Be prepared for the drive between Chitwan and Kathmandu. If you get car sick don't even go. I've been describing it as off-road in a big tour bus.

We are two 60-year-old, American hikers, who like to take one adventurous hike each year to explore the world. We hiked to Annapurna Base Camp with Outfitter Nepal in Sept-Oct 2017, and could not have been more pleased. From initial pick up to the final dinner, all arrangements were superb. Wondering if you can make this trek? We found it to be challenging, but we never felt like we couldn’t make it. Outfitter Nepal did an excellent job of breaking up the trek into manageable days, with good rest and food throughout. I observed one of the guides from Outfitter Nepal do a superb job with one hiker (not in our party) who was suffering the effects of altitude sickness. They were well-trained and able to assist the hiker to complete the trek, after their recommendations and help. We enjoyed perfect weather on our trek. Who knew it could be so warm and tropical-feeling? The Outfitter Nepal guide and porters offered excellent suggestions on hydration, trek timing and the pace of our party’s trek. Ranjit, Nilesh and Niroj made it feel like we were hiking with friends the whole time. They are knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the Nepal and its culture. It was great to have all accommodations so fully vetted in advance. Outfitter Nepal continually called ahead so that we were ensured of rooms, beds, and food at each stop along the trail. The trail was busy at times, so it was great to have guides who were experienced and who ensured that our needs were met. All exceptions or special requests were handled with grace and expertise. And the food was very good! Try the Dal Bhat! It is a wonderful Nepalese trail food! Finally, since the owners, guides and porters of Outfitter Nepal live and work in Nepal, they offer a unique and personal perspective on the trek, the culture and the beauty of Nepal. Outfitter Nepal felt less like business transaction and more like visiting with friends. I would give Outfitter Nepal, their co-owners, guides and porters, “two thumbs up” or 5 stars! I heartily recommend them and would absolutely use them again. They come highly recommended!

Nepal Outfitters were terrific. Did Annapurna Base Camp trek and it went flawlessly.... I enjoyed it immensely, now given the Himalayas are stunning on their own, but these guys and their staff made it that much better..From Arun and Raj in the office to out stellar guides , Sanjay and Romeo :)....It was all great and the porters alone made the trip worthwhile, they always had a smile on their faces and when I was dragging my butt they always had an encouraging word and smile....By the end of the trek I felt I should have been carrying their gear...:)....If you go , go wit h these guys.
